Right now i am juggling between pokerbank and the MIT poker course material. Also reading the theory of poker sklansky whenever I can. I mainly get my practice with play money on pokerstars. I have the basic tools such as pokerstove, jivaro for a HUD, and fpdb as a tracker. Online real money is not an option for me due to logistics.

My question is: as a player starting fresh and looking to be successful at Live STT/MTT should I be doing

all of the above + the theory of poker book
all of the above + harrington tournament poker book series
something else completely different, if so im open for suggestions.

Time is of the essence so I would like to know the most effective and efficient way to learn.

Thanks

If you want to be good at real poker, you need to play real poker.
Play some low buy in tournaments at your casino and expect to have a learning experience.
Play money is not going to help you learn anything past hand strengths imho.

It's one thing to read concepts and it's another to put them into practice.

I recommend you join an online poker school is a good way to start.
Having a theoretical basis of the game, complement it with practice.
Read strategy articles, learn on pages related to poker.
If you play real money tournaments starts with low costs.
Luck:)
