More on Odds

There is some discussion whether or not the maximun outs are 20 or 21. Nomatter the maximum odds you can get from either are 1.24 and 1.35 to one. These are rare happenings and the more usual odds of you making a flush or an open ended straight draw are 4/1 and 5/1 (rounded). Now these are odds AGAINST you making your hand. Contrast these to a horse race where the favourite can be at even money or odds ON

I had 23 outs once on the turn. It's more than 50%. Of course I hit it.
