What would be a good suggested minimum deposit if you wanted to build your bankroll most likely starting in micros $5 or $10 buy in cash games? Curious about opinions....thanks for any and all feedback.

It's hard to answer that one ... Some of us would say to start at zero, others would say start at $100. Ultimately the choice is up to you. I have started at $20 and have had some moderate success.

True Bank Roll management is a process and rules that you have established regarding your limits and levels you will play at. I would also recommend that you search the forum for bankroll management threads to get you started.

Best of luck with your game!

There are rooms that give a bonus without a deposit. You can play freerolls. You can start with them, and then you will decide. Just do not play with "play money".

As a beginner i wouldn't deposit much, cause less money you have in your bankroll is less you itchy to try higher limits out. And believe me if you ever do so, sharks over there will chew you and spit you out with no money in a pocket in no time. So better start small as possible, stick to the bankroll management and try build it up.
I know that it seems silly and boring sometimes to play for cents or playing freerolls, like you were wasting your time. And i know you can't wait to play bigger games.
But think about one thing - on a higher limits are more experienced opponents and harder to win, especially with just few experience playing poker and if you are loosing you loose it much quicker there. So it's smarter to start it slowly and safe, collecting some experience before you jump into shark tanks.
On other hand advantage of small amount of first deposit is that your bonus will be chopped on smaller chunks, which costs less amounts of rake to reach. So you get more of your 30$ first deposit bonus, while playing micro limits, as if you have made 100$ deposit, if you know what i mean. ;)
p.s. You should learn that poker does never excuse the haste, neither at making decisions at table nor while handle with your bankroll and deciding your bankroll management plan.
p.p.s. And the last tip to you, take your game serious, educate yourself, analyze your questionable hands and try to find the way playing it better. Even highrollers with years of experience keep doing that! You might also try out some software that could help you in that like PokerTracker, Flopzilla, ICM Trainer, Equilab, PioViewer or similar products, to bring your poker education and skills on a higher level. Don't forget there are some great books written about poker too.

I'll suggest to deposit 20$ and try NL2. If u find easy to make profit at this limit then move on NL10

30 buyins for 5 or 10nl cash games would be an ideal deposit amount.

Not sure how much experience you have, however I would advise starting at 5nl. From what I have heard, 2nl is only a good place to start if you are brand new to poker or real money play.

I propose to start with making $ 20, and then how will it go ... If it goes well, then already it will not be necessary to pay extra, there is $ 80, you will start playing tournaments in the beginning ... and not cache in tournaments you can earn more on caches ...

Smart bankroll management says you want about 20-30 buyins for cash, but at the lower stakes where it's easy to replace your bankroll, you can play a lot more shallow. As little as 5 buyins is ok because at nl 2, that's only $10 and it's no big deal to replace. Once you make it to higher buyins, you will want more, maybe even as many as 50-60 if you make it to the high stakes.

Good advice says "alienat3d" start playing the game cache from the very bottom. A couple of dollars is enough. If you are good enough, then in a couple of days you will achieve tangible progress and will be able to increase your bank 10 times easily! For a start deposit, you will have $ 5! Good luck!

Deposit 30 x the full buy in for the lowest limit available on the site.

So if the site has Holdem with 1c/2c blind, the full buy in would be $2

30x that is $60

$60 to start off in 2NL will give you a fair amount of buy-ins and get you acclimated to the 2NL streets. good luck

888poker gives a good oppotunity to build a bankroll , they offer me everyday 2tickets 0.5$ mtt , if you play good and profit of this , you will make a nice bankroll , their 0.5$ mtt offers 300 - 400$ gtd , the 2nd day , I won a mtt , for 50$ and I try everyday to cash and make those tickets profitable , micro players are not good enough , so you will find it easy .

i think a good deposit is x100 your buy-ins! lets say you want to play 1$ sit and go you need to deposit 100! if you play cash games i think x50 is enough!

20 buyins is a good start. with 50 buy ins you'll never go bust and with 30+ its very unlikely. 20 leaves you with some chance to bust but you'll be able to move up fairly quickly.
You should also consider that at higher stakes you'll have more varience. Im pretty confident i could start at .01/.02 games and build up with 5-6 buy ins.

If you are going to play 5NL $100 start would be good but you could get away with $50 if you know what you are doing. Let us know what you decide!
