Micro cash game learning streams

Hi all,

Been a while since I’ve played the online micro games, and have seemed to lost my touch a bit with the bankroll building...

I find a good way to learn, is by watching YouTube or Twitch streams, basically learning from other peoples mistakes/ wins along with their good explanation.

I had a bit of a search for 2NL online full ring cash games, and couldn’t find much online (in English...) Does anyone on here follow or subscribe to any micro stake cash players? Any recommended streamers would be greatly appreciated.

Doug Polk has some good Micro cash strategies and advice on Upswing Poker. He also did a bankroll challenge and played micro cash for a bit in it, that's on youtube.

I generally watch low to high stakes tournament players on Twitch. It's tough to find primarily cash game streamers, let alone micro. If you can retain information from articles though, definitely check out Upswing Poker and poker news. You might have to search a bit, but there are great articles in there regarding micro cash games.

Check out Charlie Carrel on you tube. He also did a $50- $10,000 bankroll challenge. He is also on twitch.

As the others have stated, the Doug Polk and Charlie Carrel videos are pretty good. I just wanted to point out that both of them took shots at higher levels before they were properly bankrolled for them to speed up their bankroll building... I wouldn't advise doing that.

Thanks for the feedback and pointers!
I’ve started watching Charlie’s stream, which is quite interesting. He does make a full bluffs which don’t work against calling stations, so this is something I need to pick up on.

I’ve been doing not great all week, since I picked the 2NL cash back up, causing me to spend $10 and need to reload for another $10...

For the bankroll, I completely agree. I’ll be doing the 30 buyin rule, so I’ll be sticking with 2NL, until I hit $150 dollar, and move up to 5NL. A long way off for now though!

Currently, I feel as though i cant hit a flop, and when I do, all I get is folds. Otherwise, I’m mainly getting dealt poor cards that aren’t in my 15% range... (Playing full ring 2NL). I’m blaming my own playstyle, so may start a blog on these forums with a bit of a bankroll building journey and some key hand wins/ losses. Watch this space!
