A very good article on player annotations.

How do you usually make your notes? What color do they use to score a player?

In this article, you can get help on how to sort the player by color, a strategy that helps a lot to identify each player

Yellow Color - Formerly used this color to say that it is Nit or Passive insurance, today I use this color for players who tend not to fail frequently and only continue with a few hands. That is, they have a big hand, a little more, continue. These are also great totals to apply for the floater, so they tend to bet on the flop, not for a bet. My note in this case is made when I am the aggressor and when they are the aggressors. This way I do not need to get so worried about a main picture of them, which is usually Nits or Safe, playing a few hands, worrying about their style of play rather than just being in their picture. This color compels me to decrease the range of Resteal, since players play very few hands, but on the other hand, increase my reach of Steal to almost any hand against these players.

Color Light Green - This color I rarely use, when a use is against well-ruined and preferably high paying players, also known as calling Station. Against my players, I decrease my reach of Steal and when I do the Steal I raise a number of Blinds from Open Lift, that is, my normal preflop raise is 2.22xBB, so I will do 3xBB, 4xBB, forcing my opponent to drop Certain hands and compel him to throw big pots post-flop out of position. My Resteal and 3bet reach is very wide and wide against these players. When I have strong coins like AA, KK, QQ and AK I want to put as much money without pot, because I know no big hands like AQ, JJ, TT, 99, 88, AJ and maybe AT. I play a lot in position, I pursue passive draws and when the hit try to get as much value as possible, even going allin the moment I hit my hands.

Light Blue - This color is used to mark passive plays, for example, these players tend to make weak and small bets very often. Sometimes the text is as follows. I know this tends to be a weakness in 90% of the cases, so I try to make a big raise to take the pot, usually when they pay, it can mean a Draw, a pair or even a top pair with a bad kicker. Usually as stakes of 66% or more mean strength in most cases, and that is a top pair with average Kicker may be problem. An open raise. They come in a lot of limp and like to see lots of flop. When they give check means weakness most of the time, and seldom lentplay. When you have a strong hand, passive players rarely raise without a strong hand. An increase not river on the part of these players, only means monsters and that the river somehow helped him. If the bet has just doubled our bet usually long AA and good top pairs. On the other hand they tend to resemble a bit in the way they pay the Calling Station, but not to the same intensity. They often make the big calls not flop, on the turn or river, simply with Top pair. The higher your bet, the greater chance of thinking that you are trying to take the pot, but it may be because you do not want to. Which is a big plus for us. That player is easy to deal with, and will soon write an article just about those players.

Pink Color - Pink color used very little in my game. It means a player who tends to trap passively. For example, enter UTG or PM bearing with hands like AA, KK, QQ, AK, strong hands. They make small bets on how to bet 20 on a pot with 1000 chips, when they hold the hand stronger, on other occasions they do it with weak ones and drop their hands. These tend to slowplay frequently. Good is the player who is in the other areas. They very much resemble players marked with a light blue, but these styles are quite different at various points.

Medium Blue Color - This color is used for bad aggressive moves and also for players who take the initiative frequently, they frequently check-raise. These players can take the initiative by betting very little, betting the pot or making a big overbet on the flop. They also tend to do some strange preflop maneuvers such as going allin with 500 BBs in a 10/20 Blind, and to make matters worse, in some cases, they do it in every hand they enter, which makes my range To call, to be giant. Usually they give a little work, but they get stuck with ridiculous hands, they make bad bluffs on boards of which they represent absolutely nothing. They tend to defend their blinds more often, so I try to avoid stealing many blinds from these players, both because they tended to give me work. I like to make traps against them and great raisers both because they rarely leave. This guy also gives work, but just have patience that most of the time playing against him will have an advantage. It tends to punish weaknesses and Checks, or small bets, are great victims of Slowplay.

Color Dark Blue - This color I use against plays that repeat themselves and are very aggressive. How to check-raise or take the initiative often. Fight to take the pot too often, making big bluffs. These players tend to be difficult to deal with because they usually have readings, know the concept of 3bet and apply frequently. They are difficult to play, but in micro limits there are few of them. They usually have 4 stars or more, and tend to play at higher limits. It tends to punish weaknesses and Checks, or small bets, are great victims of Slowplay.

Orange Color - I use for any player who is regular in a given field or limit. This color also represents a player who knows the game and makes a good ABC to reasonable. They are winners at their limits and it is often possible to see them going away in the tournament or STG. The weakness of these players depends solely on the image you show, that is, if you merge your game, these players have difficulty understanding what you are doing, so they think for a long time that your image is the same when you have already changed it long time ago. The good thing about these players is that it is possible to steal their blinds not as often as stealing from Nits players and not defending as much as Aggressive players and Calling Station. This player is in the middle of what he does in his Blinds. By being a Balanced player, you tend to be a winner at your limit.

Red Color - These players appear infrequently at low limits and usually have 4 stars or more. They tend to be players who understand the game, know what they are doing and make few mistakes. It's hard to find mistakes in your game, both because they hardly go wrong. They tend to have good results and are very close to being pros or if they are no longer professionals. They are players that I try to avoid, but they are rare in the limits of 2.20, 3.30, 0.25 and so on.

Red - aggresive player. Because..
Yellow - weak players. Because it's fastest way to mark players. And there's bunch of them.
I usually mark player to describe his style. I think to write how he played before - useless, because he can change his bets.

I have 3 + "note" but I guess this one does not count.
I dont know, I think having a rainbow on the table is sometimes counterproductive. Lets be hoinest, having a "weak reg" and "fish" is not that much different. "Passive" and "station" will be the same, only if you have a HUD you will se the difference
