I have seenn those videos from stakemetoplay and they are good and inspiring.
But as a mtt player I believe most of it is for cash game.
Is there any mental training for mtts out there.
With a thread title like this, I can't help but recommend that people read Jared Tendler's book: The Mental Game of Poker Covers all sorts of poker0related situations.
You can check out my review here: http://cardplayerlifestyle.com/poker-book-review-the-mental-game-of-poker/
Also, if you're interested, just did an interview with Jared himself over on the Top Pair Home Game Poker Podcast: http://cardplayerlifestyle.com/top-pair-interview-mental-game-poker-author-jared-tendler/
"Too often, as poker players, we attribute our failures at the felt to bad luck, random happenstance and being on the wrong side of variance. Surely, most losses we endure are as a result of bad beats, suckouts, and lucky fish having their way with the deck at our expense. Rare are the players who understand that the solution to their poker problems lie not in poker itself but rather within themselves". I read your review and I agree with thought process 100% from the quote I copy and pasted from your review. I am going to purchase this book and hope to absorb the information. I post in forums that actually are a diary of sorts to myself. Additional note taking on myself, this might further my learning at a greater pace thank you for that review. Glad to meet you and hope everything is going well.

Thank you very much Robbie.
I have been reading some of this already, but there are reading stuff for many hours and I am looking forward to read it all.
Yup - took me a month to read the book. Takes a lot of concentration; not like reading a John Grisham or Michael Crichton novel, haha.
Enjoy
Hi again Robbie
I now have both books as audiobooks and I am almost through listening to the first one.
But I feel like I am missing out on graphs and sheeds etc.
Would I gain more from the books by getting the hard copy to or is it possible to get hands on all the stuff I am missing some other way.
I am so close to buy both ebooks too, to make sure I am getting all the action.
By the way great book I really feel like I am improving even though I still got more then a whole book to get through.
