They're awfully hard to fold, but unless you flop a set, or a boat tread carefully when your opponent has position, and is calling you down.

Hard to fold. I usually go all in. It doesn't always work in my favour. I have lost to flush and two pair quite often.

It depends on the board but I never get married to a hand just because of its pre-flop strength. The strength of the hand changes from street to street. Thou on dry boards with an over pair it never feels good to fold

It's hard to dump, but you have to think about when it's needed) and correctly raise it pre-flop) do not slow the game at the beginning of the hand

Such hand cards monsters are difficult to discard, especially when there is immediately the display of alinn, then the chuika should prompt)

Agreed they are hard hands to get rid of. When up against a single opponent its the safest when 2 others or 3 others are still in the pot tread very carefully as the pot odds and implied pot odds will allow the others to drawn on lots of hands. Always best to play in position

Game type dependant also. At 6 max qq is a monster especially against an opponent with a wide calling range.

with KK and QQ i like to get as much chips in before the pot as fast as possible. However if im 3-betting and im getting callers to the flop and an ace shows up its backpeddling time for me.

If in the game is 6-9 people with an appearance on the table a flop, turn, river - the chances of winning for AA KK DD - many reduced.
Best of all, I think, need to win before the flop !
10-bet + all-in !

Hard to divorce those hands for sure. Having position sure helps. Would rather over play QQ than AK.

never fold Aces pre flop, everything else is debatable. Like many of our fellow users have said there are many variables once the flop is out the will determine post flop play and outcome.

You just have to fold if the board is telling you to. It depends on player strength.

Yesterday I was with AA on BB and UTG has QQ, preflop he was very confiddent. He believe he would Win. When he see AA he gets mad and he went allin with shit hands with anything of course he loose.

So answering your question only AA in any position and KK in middle and final position and QQ only on final position

WIth AA KK or QQ i would advise against going all in because often two pair, a straight or a flush will turn on the board leaving you with 0 chips. I would either raise 1/4 my stack or LIMP in too the hand (I love doing that with AA KK QQ) with the hope that a player hits top pair on the board and bets big falling right into the trap set by limping and checking down to the river.

I play freerolls and this hands win not very often, maybe 50% and at freerolls you have to go all-in with it.

Most of the time when I assemble a QQ set or a set of AA, my opponents get a straight and a flush, and they get a flash when they have a hand that is not their hand and 4 other flash cards come to the table. I do not know why this is how it works but I treat the monsters set very carefully

For me depends on the tournament that is playing the value of this, whether or not I am close to the bubble, if it represents my exit from the tournament or facing an opponent with more chips than I and my position in the hand. But anyway it is difficult to fold preflop KK QQ, because I would never throw AA. I remember playing a Sunday I decided not to throw QQ and I lost against an AA coming to the bubble, it was frustrating but it is poker and you have to know how to throw good pairs and when is the right decision.

I fully share your opinion. Although in a tournament I am willing to risk an All-In preflop with QQ knowing the opponent in previous hands.

In my opinion anyone that folds AA preflop in TEXAS HOLDEM should quit poker and take an interest in Bridge or Solitaire. As for KK it can be folded in a number of scenarios, some of which are with ur opponent is an extreme nit and bets heavy, if an Ace comes on the flop and there is more than 2 of u in the pot and you ain't pot committed (for me at least, instafold), can be folded in tournament situations depending on numerous factors..in most cases though you'd like to get it in with KK...I mean theoretically you're only losing to AA...grow a spine and take a gamble goddammit lol...QQ, I play a lot like JJ...I aproach with extremely caution...I prefer not to go broke with it preflop unless I think I have a solid read on villain but I love to see a flop with it after I do a 5x raise and not receive a reraise
