Can a person with one style to change it and move on to another? Does the quality of the style of the game? For example, if you're not playing in your main style, you have to play worse. Is it true that the professionals have a perfect command of all styles and play equally well at all, or is it that everyone has a preference? Does the style of play of the nature of man?

I think each one has a natural style, with qualities and defects to be fixed, and this style can be changed. It depends of the personality of the person I think. TO me, for example, is hard to change my sytle during the game, I'm afraid of silly mistakes playing in a way that I don't master.

Of course everyone has their own style of play, but I prefer to start the tournament tight gradually increasing aggression and already in the later stages of tournament play more aggressively.

The style of the game is a result of your personal philosophy. As much as you play it wil become better if you can prosess ggod enough all the elements and all the experiences you had.

For tournament poker changing gears is a must. The whole range of table styles, sizes and blind situations are presented. What you really want to look at is your "image". Some are more subtle or subdued about it, but to win you've got to be at least OK at short or very short handed tables. This requires the ability to play aggressively.

Blind structures are another.. knowing what the difference is between a table with 100BB average stack and 20BB average stack and how it affects your play is key to getting very far.

Blending these and other factors is as important as your "style" if you ask me.

In the early days of a new poker player they tent to stick to a particular style.
As the years go on you will find that your game can take on and adapt to each style as the play itself demands.

You change your style to dictate the game type if your new and sitting with sharks you act meak let them pounce and profit until thye know you better, In regular games a rotational axis of play works great!! Go from super tight to manacial to regular and the people you play with really wont know what to put you on. If the game is to wild then maybe find another game no style of poker can adapt to stupid players.

I always change my style between hands. I never stick with a certain strategy and i think thats also a way to have the upper hand while playing poker.

It is important to change your style according to your opponents. Play agressive against tight passive players and play like a maniac every once in a while to throw people off.

It took me along time to even know what style I played. But what I did know was the fact that I had to change it or be a loser. If I'm learning something and I take it to the tables and try it, then my style is changing all the time. But I do think that every player has a basic style good or bad. I hardly know anything, but I am learning.
