I deposited $100, I know thats not much to some of you but hey I got to start somewhere >:] Also what do you guys suggest I do to get more money, tournaments or cash games, I know how to play both very well but what would you guys suggest I start?

try both of them and see wich one do you like more. But I suggest starting from the bottom 2nl or 1-2$ S&G.

If you are serious about doing it for a living then you need to read a lot about bankroll management. I see Bovada as your online site and unfortunately the lowest cash games they offer are at 5nl. While some people do play levels with 20 buyins it is a rather aggressive approach. I would suggest that you grind as many $1 tournaments as possible. If you give the cash games a try be very aware that you are playing with what most would consider the MINIMUM amount allowable.

Good luck!

It depends on how successful you were live, and for how long, which stakes etc

Live games are generally quite soft until £2/5 realms in the UK. I've played 1/2 live for years, but you only realise your leaks when you're playing a larger number of hands.

I would suggest giving 2/5nl a go if you're on Stars, as its not too difficult. You have the right bankroll for it, and if you the fundamentals you're unlikely to go broke. You can always drop down if it's too tough.
Also, bear in mind that playing micro stakes means you will be a long way from making a living out of the game. Be prepared to put in time and effort.

As a starter in online poker, what is really diff from live poker, i think u should try all kind of game type to get a feeling for it. Its worth to invest a small amount of cash in to it. Once u feel comfy play whatever suits u .And take care of good br-management.

You might need to start at really low stakes like micro to manage your bankroll properly but GL, I myself like playing SNG's when I first started and still find them as a pretty good moneymaker compared to other options

Thanks for the advice everybody, Right now I'm just playing NLH $0.50/1.00 stakes and i manage to buy in with $30 and now its at $121 so I'm +$121 for today lol. But yeah when i run live games im capable playing $5/10 building a 1500$ bank roll to around 10 dimes, I know its wrong to play more than 5% of your bank roll but its just i have the urge to get a huge chunk of money before i call it a day. When i first started out i busted $500 a few times playing $1/2 but over time and countless hands played my game is more solid then i was back then.

Also bought into a $25 tournament $1000gtd and i was in Late Reg. Placed 11th place 2 away from ITM, this gave me a complete headache i was good for around 15BBs when i started and it was either shove or fold every freaking hand, everyone was pretty much shoving all in every turn. I waited for a premium and i get broken shoving KK in against a JJ and he spikes a J like its no tommorow, idk I'm not finding tournaments very comfortable at the moment.

In my opinion tourny Play is safer then cash game. What has been your hihest paying finish in a online sit tourney like your payout? If your used to finishing top 5 then you are set, placing top 20 is questionable. If your not regularly finishing top 5 then you might wanna rethink about tourneys. Cause unless the buyin is above 45$50$ u dont get much unless tou finish on top tier.

I deposited $250 the first time i played online . and i lost everything on like 15 minutes . I have no idea that there are micro games and others .

I went into $100 buy in and also my game is poor then .

So be careful & navigate the entire lobby to find the best option for you .

Also the best site which gives Bonus & rake back

Goodluck

You need to have the money stock for at least 6 months of life. Ie you need to have your bankroll + 6x monthly budget in order that we could begin to earn a professional poker. In general, this is a plus and a minus.
plus:
Independence, free schedule and endless growth
Less:
The lack of stability.
I believe it is better to start with a tournament with a buy-inn $ 1.
