So, I just got my first poker software in PT4 and have been messing with it and watching tutorials all day. I finally came across this luck bell curve that shows how hot or cold you're running. I liked it for a moment, until I realized that it's only verifying my feeling of being unlucky or, if I were lucky, showing that I'm on the good side of luck and my time may be running short.

Does anyone ever FEEL like they're in the green on the luck bell curve?

Another question: Do you feel like this can be manipulated by how you play? Could this be hinting at some underlying issue?

Wouldn't pay too much attention to it tbh, in the long term no-one is lucky/running hot or unlucky/running cold anyway, it all evens out eventually.

If you've just bought PT4 you are better off setting up you HUD and studying what the stats mean, how long they take to converge, and how you can play vs opponents based on their stats.

I'm definitely working on all of that and didn't spend more than the time it took to post this on the luck bell curve. However, it just seems strange to me that they would add that in without it giving some kind of relevant information. The phrase "Luck is a product of hard work" makes me think that maybe I'm missing something here.

i also like a phrase that runs along these lines "luck tends to favour those that dont rely on it " or something like that

I don't think it is an accurate chart/curve.
simply because PT4 just analysis the showdown
and how about the hands when you raise and they fold? - obv you cannot get an idea about that.

even a short session, it does not that makes some sense.
