Now, after a long time I started playing poker again for like a week now. So, I play spin n go, my first day I was kinda struggling, the next 3 days I did pretty well. By pretty well, I mean I didn`t get called on my bluffs, I entered all preflop and flop all ins with better cards even though sometimes I lost, I still call them good games.
BUT, in the last 3 days, I have lost I 90% of my preflop all ins. Im not getting trapped or something, Im entering with better cards. Because of the blinds its easy to observe when someone will go all in with a relatively high card with maybe a low kicker, so I just wait till the opportunity comes and see their all in. But I have been losing to people that are going all in with every hand be it K2, or 63. Now I m not a superficial person, and I m also aware that the poker software doesn`t discriminate me. However, in a game like spin n go you always have to go all in or see an all in at some point, and I m keep losing " with better hands". This really started to make me feel frustrated, I am not sure how to handle this situation. Now I feel like I am gonna lose every game that I will play, and I m no more able to read the table like I was 3 days ago.

Im sure things things that are similar to this have happened to many of you guys. The problem with spin n go is you go through these badbeats like 20 times in 2 hours. So its a little more intensive. How should I handle this situation? My self confidence is at its lowest right now.

Thanks

Try to alternate the spin n go cash games or SNG.Just don't get hung up on one kind.

There is one player who's taking a very methodical and analytical approach to the game. I'd suggest reading his thread and picking his mind. He's very forthcoming and objective with his analysis to boot.

Yes the best thing to do is have a break, read poker books or watch poker on tv this will help get confidence back. Unfortunately in poker this happens to all of us at some point but more with others. Anyone that's says they don't is telling lies. It's how you manage it and how you bounce back! Good luck

Unless you get a really big multiplier on the spin, these games seem to be very difficult to do much better than break even. Variance seems to be so high on 3 handed, and the blinds can catch you. I have not seen very many good players on spins, just a lot of gamblers. I don't play them as often, but I feel fortunate to just play solid, take my chances with premium hands and hope to break even. this might not help, but I don't think there is any really big strategy to these games, just bankroll management and not losing confidence. we all go through bad runs. Just try to fight through it without breaking the bank. Good luck.

Losing more ....

Just read all the replies. Sounds like good advice about the spin and go games. Think I will heed this info and go play some more tournaments or sit and gos.

Thanks guys !!!!
