I won't go into how I came across this, but lately I've found that in freerolls during the middle stages with a decent stack I can play what I'm calling Loose Passive Aggressive.
First, pre-flop I call/open 1-2 BBs with a loose range of hands.
On the flop I call 1-2 BB bets no matter what if I decided to see a flop. Fold to larger bets or any re-raise.
On the turn I bet big, half to full pot sized bets.
On the river I bet big again.
Since I've been doing this, most people fold the turn and a lot fold the river. Enough are folding that I'm sticking with it and it seems to be holding up.
Any idea why this would be working for me? Is this a legit way of making people fold, or is it just a run of positive variance?
Like I said, I only do this in freerolls and only during the middle stages with a decent stack.
