I have read Jeff Hwang's first book and I am reading Winning Limit Omaha 8. I am grasping the concepts of these books but when I take it to the micro 02/04 and 05/10 tables the concepts of starting hands post flop play and raising do not seem to hold up. What sort of adjustments need to be made in order to win money at these levels. I am sure moving up to a higher level will only make me lose more but my thought is that at least at higher stakes a raise with AA or A234 A suited will get a little more respect rather than three callers with all payers holding middle cards.

So the help I am needing is how to adjust it almsot seems that adjusting would be to stray away form the concepts I have been reading about.

All help is greatly appreciated. This is a game that I really want to improve in.

Why do you want them to fold? When you're drawing to the nuts, you want as many callers as possible. Also, AA without a 2 or a 3 really isn't that strong of a holding, especially in loose games.

the micro 02/04 and 05/10 tables
The rake at these levels is really going to eat into your profits in a big way. Playing at $1/$2 and below is really really hard to beat the rake. I'd suggest playing MTT's, or SnG's if you want to play LO8 at micro limits.

c9h13no3...because from what I have read AA hands pre flop (sorry I didnt say pre flop earlier) are best when played with less opponents, heads up if possible.

Thanks for the advice on the SnGs vs cash game. I will have to look into playing some more of those. Where do you suggest? UB?

The only place I am seeing (for US players) that has Micro SNGs for LO8 is UB and they take a long time to get started based on the low volume of people joining these.

PS has a $1 game that starts at 1130 PM EST. Most of the time that is pretty late for me to get started in a game that will likely last a few hours minimum

Any other advice on playing LO8 in micro limits.

You could play heads up SnG's. Obviously those take less time to get started, but they also require you to play well short handed.
