So I've come to accept a sad truth about myself: When I play online poker and I can focus on the game and nothing else, I can play the game quite well. The problem is that I just can't ever focus on the game. I will sit there and play good solid poker for an hour or so, but I start getting distracted by the Internet (among other things) and then I start doing things like losing my reads on people and I start playing worse and worse until I finally get knocked out usually shortly before the money.
When I play live on the other hand, I play noticeably better and, since the only distraction I ever have on me is a watch I use to keep time, I'm able to focus better and longer.
My dilemma is that I can hardly ever get the chance to play live MTT's and cash games (since the nearest casinos with those tables are 45 miles away) and, unfortunately, there are no live casinos near me that do not run MTT's without rebuys (and I'm not a huge fan of those).
Do you think I should just keep trying to improve my online game or I should just focus and stick to live (the few chances I can) for the time being?
