What kind of hands do you like to limp in with?

I'm generally a pretty tight player and almost always only play strong to very strong starting hands, opening with an appropriate raise.

Occasionally though, depending on position, opposition and other factors, I will limp in with a marginal hand if I can and hope for a good flop. The kind of hand I am talking about would be small pairs, small suited connectors, or suited one-gappers.

What kind of hand do you like to limp with?

I like to limp in with 22s to 55s in early to middle position, and possible AQ or AA in early position to use the deception factor.

Usually with Low pocket pairs, like 22, 33 ... 66; but in some occasions, you can apply a limp with AA and KK, it´s not a common move, and has to be applied in a table against reg players in it, avoiding multiway pots.

I rarely limp in early-mid position. It's usually raise, 3bet, or fold.

I will over limp a lot in late position with a wide range, though. Unless I have a hand I can jam in and pick up all the dead money.

I rarely open-limp, but I will come along with small pairs, suited gappers and connectors, and sometime things like K6s on the button if the blinds are low. I try to avoid limping in the SB with hands like weak Aces that are really hard to play OOP post-flop.

Limping AA/KK is always an option, but don't get mad when somebody gets a cheap chance to crack them with that K6s, that's the risk you take when you try to sandbag somebody.

the same , suited connectors ,gappers , small pairs .
I'm just trying to enlarge/make wider the range of hands from position I limp (the same with the c bets semi bluffs bluffs ) to change my style to make it more loose , so as to have better chances to build stack .It will need time:)

Try never to limp. It's weak. Unless you are trying to diversify your range

I think limping is a hole your game. Yes like everyone else there was a time that I limped with some hands, but over time it is a huge leak and leads to winning small pots, losing big pots, and a lot of call/folds wasting chips that could have been used for a raise.

For example, you could limp with small pairs, but would your set be good? Most likely you are letting people limp with small connecting cards and your set is vulnerable to straits and flushes...leading to losing a big pot.

Limping with big cards again will open you to having your AA cracked more often. If you have AA and the flop is J-6-7 are you good? Its hard to tell. Plus AA doesn't play well in a multi hand pot.

Limping is the kind habit that is like swimming laps with a brick tied to your foot. All you are doing is telegraphing your weakness. If you have a hand worth playing (regardless of what hand it is), you should be raising to narrow the field or calling a raise.

For those naysayers, play for a week and write down every time you limp and the results (keep in mind this is only a week). You will see the leak.

think its villan and format dependent, but usually small pairs in early with effective stacks of at least 30bbs

Very rarely I limp with anything other than low pair, 5s and under, but it all depends on the table for me. But it's even rarer that I've limped a big starting hand and come away with a bigger pot than I have playing it strongly. Still, I'm still under 10k of hands played so interested to read how more experienced folk might limp in ...

Small suited connectors my favorite card but I often podvodityat me! When closing the street on the flop, I often want to increase the bank and make small bets that would not drive out the enemy! This brings me often, the enemy closes senior street. Many times I lose, but I can not bring myself to do Slow Play!!

I like to limp in early-mid position with middle suited connector but depends on the table.

I generally limp in from a late position, either with a big pair or suited connectors.
