Am new at this and am trying to figure out the most efficient way of thinking when figuring odds and options while sitting at a live table. I understand concepts like the rule of 4 and 2, figuring 2% per out, etc.
My question is when sitting at the table, should I have learned odds as percentages, old school odds (4.8 : 1), or a combination of both?
"Whichever you're most comfortable with", is not the answer I'm looking for. I would like to know the reason why you recommend one way of thinking over another. I want to train myself be consistent in my thinking when analyzing whats happening at the table.
Thanks
