Hi.

How do you study poker? A few books initially, now primarily hand history reviews both my hands and others, also read forums and watch some poker on twitch.

What ways do you study? I review some of my sessions almost hand by hand, paying close attention to the ranges people are playing in various positions/situations. Generally I end up running a few hands through equilab to see how good or bad a particular play is against standard ranges...sometimes I'm surprised by the results.

How often do you study? Usually after every three sessions or so I'll go back and pick the one that seemed the most difficult or interesting and go through it hand by hand.

All is in practice. You must play, play and play. When you play, you will learn about variance and everything else that is relevant for poker.

How I study poker:
1. Reading books and online articles;
2. Self-analysis of the game and strategy;
3. Study and discussion of the hands laid out on the CardsChat forum;
4. And most importantly - practice.

Training in poker - depending on the free time.

the best way to learn to play poker is to learn the basics of the game. you should start practicing.
also examine the style of play. method. and specific positions
This is the best opportunity to talk with people who have long been playing poker
they can advise how best to start a career poker player

Learn the basics then start playing freerolls, this way you will learn while playing. Also read books, watch videos, streamers.

Reviewing your hand history is good too do aswell, so you can patch the leaks in your game, see where you went wrong and learn from your mistakes.
