I didnt play for a little over a week. So no online poker for about 11 days or so. I gotta say, today i played the 5k bovada freeroll, and honestly it came really easy to win. Taking a break every now and then, i think it helps get poker out your system. So the 1st lesson in learning poker, is learning not to play.

So today i played 1 freeroll satellite, won my seat. Gonna play the next one thursday. Whether it wasnt for money or for fun, its how i applied myself during the game. I didn't chase for the win, rather i visualized myself winning . Gonna see how this week turns out, and if i am right today, hopefully ill be right in a few days.

Take breaks, and focus when it is necessary. Dont drain your mental fitness on trying to win or chasing what you lost. Go hiking, go watch others on high stakes and study. Im gonna go watch videos, and give a few hours to studying the next couple days. That way, i wont be nervous but ill be ready.

learn poker by not playing poker.

learn from others is the right way to start

Like many, i signed up on cardschat a few years back because i was starting off, whoring on freerolls and seeking money.Thats not who i am anymore, although i still play freerolls here and there, i learn to deal with focusing on the right direction. I recently started logging into my cardschat freeroll again, and i decided doesnt matter how many post i need to try and become a freeroller on here. What i was enjoying more the last few weeks on cardschat is reading peoples post, seeing how others think, seeing goals, and learning from pokerschool articles. So for new players, if your here to learn, i think youll get an infinite amount of knowledge and experience and thats the key to succeeding in poker in the long run. Its not about chasing free money , but free is good but not good enough.

if your gonna learn, learn by listening, and avoiding chasing money. Learn to earn and Earn to keep learning.

You dont chase at poker , if something is profitable you dont have to abandon it , playing with bad mental health yes it can lead to many -ev situations , therefore its better to take a break and come back healthier.

This is true. If you have adapted a wrong way of playing you can get caught into certain wrong habits. Only if you get away from it, you start realizing things that you cannot realize when you just continue with the same wrong habit.
