Learning a players "continuing range"
I have practiced a lot with Equilabs equity trainer which is great for analyzing how you shape up against your opponents range on the flop, and set scenarios are getting easier to memorize, but what I find difficult is to decide whether I have the correct odds
to call past the flop.
So let's say I have JTs vs. Villians 20% range
Flop comes ThKd2c
I have 54% equity at this point, but if the turn is an 8d, i'm still 54% to win, but of course if Villian has been betting, he's not going to be betting the whole 20% of his range is he, so how would you come to an analysis in real-time as to what part of his range he is betting with? Would you assume any T,K or 8 which fits into his range and analyse it that way? This is the one thing which I believe is holding me back. On the flop it's easy right, but past then it gets more tricky I feel.
