I decided to raise my level of poker (hold'em)

I want to read a couple of books, please, tell me which books to read, or what advice do you have?

I'm sorry, I was referring to whether you play cash, sng or mtt. Since the strategy is different in these modalities. If you still do not have it clear you can read some more general book of texas holdem

I have a related question.

A lot of poker videos on youtube emphasize hand ranges and reading, but by just watching these videos it seems like it would take a really long time to learn how to place people on ranges. The videos make sense as you watch them because they give you a step by step explanation of the logic, but from this it is difficult to extrapolate the fundamentals of hand ranges and apply them to your game.

I'm wondering how exactly does one learn the basics and procedure for putting people on ranges? It seems like a lot of it is intuition and would be hard to teach/write about.

Yeah, that intuition, that reading of other players is hard to teach, it's one of the whys there's no invincible bot in poker. I'm struggling in learning this as well.

I guess the only way is by playing, and maybe losing some money in order to learn. Every pro I've heard lost some amount in their learning days. And from there they started to lose less than winning.

Study strategy of Sng or Mtt that you will play, this material you will find on the internet for free. The most important thing that I think in my opinion is you review your losing hands, and strive not to make the same mistake again. Study your opponents, make notes about them that is also very important. My friend, these attitudes are helping me and a lot to improve my game, I hope it helps you too.

I know not a people are a fan of her, but the Middle Zone by Annie Duke is a great book. I would recommend finding that one.
