Did it go well?
I started player poker not too long ago and at first it was always just in games around the kitchen table. This helped with the more obvious things like stacking up chips and shuffling and dealing the cards.
I found I got alot better at the game when I began to play online. One day of playing freerolls
online was the same as playing for every night of the whole week on the kitchen table. I also read a couple of poker books
before I actually put real money
online which helped me even more. Phil Gordons Little Green book was my first one. It was easy to read and not boring like I expected. Well maybe a bit boring hee hee hee. But it is a long story why I had to read it. Now I am glad I did and I have actually gone back and read some of it again (oops don't tell you know whats his face, hee hee hee).
I think if you can get to where you feel pretty good about how you can play the game you won't be as nervous with the rest of the stuff like dealing the cards and stuff. And you can get alot of this practice online and for free sometimes but it is not as good when it is free.
Hope you had fun.
