Hey gang. ..hope you all have been running good as of late and enjoying the results of your hard work. Lately I've been playing PLO online and my results are mediocre at best. What kind of win rate should I have online before I even consider going to the casino?

i would say that you should not understand a live game as a second step of your gaming career and i really dont think that this is all about. As you know live poker has a whole new aspects of game, which means that you should learn to read a body language, to control your own emotions and so on. So before i go there, i would hit some books and thats what you should do too ;)

The reason why I asked is that I don't want to make the same mistakes that I make online that I would in a live game. The live games running here (Oklahoma and Louisiana) only run $2/$5 and $5/$10 if I remember correctly. Those mistakes can be costly!

Well if the stakes are too high live, I would not be entering them if you aren't comfortable.

Maybe look around for smaller stakes somewhere, if not you could always take a shot!

I think u cant just feel ready for casino live playing. You should try several times and see how it works and how u feel it. Is it going well or is it not. If so keep it real. :)

Believe

Playing online online and live can be a different cup of tea for some. Good online players are not necessarily good live too. If you are confident yourself of pulling it off then you should go ahead and try going to the casino. Whatever the results or outcome of the trip take it as a learning experience and am sure it will get only better. :icon_geek

Also if you pick up any tells then trust your instincts and go with it.

Blinds are also 1$/2$ in Oklahoma as well I believe.
