Sometime We need to understand that we aren`t in good moment and just leave the table, give up for, at least that day or something....

How about u, what is ur limit?

When do u realize that?

Thanks for sharing.

Good luck on tables.

Good luck on tables.

it depends on the motivation, sometimes we feel we have an intense energy to win and especially focus on the game, in this case when we see that we play well and we certainly win we still want to continue, but if luck is not going successively it is better to take a break of a few days before resuming..but the ideal is to play with good humor personally my limit is three days, if it does not work I take a break of a week without playing and resume

Hi.
I agree with you. If not lucky, sometimes it is better to just take a break. In such cases, the break will allow you to avoid additional financial costs.
Good luck.

It happens that the game is just tired, you do not play, do not follow the game, but just bet, throw cards, go rashly all in, it's fatigue, that's this momont I just get out of the game, potamu that this game is not something good will not lead

If I see that I go to minuses, then I stop playing for a while. Until I calm down.

2 buy-ins per table.. if it was variance and not my bad play that busted. Sometimes, I need to recognize I'm out of my league.

When I understand that I play badly, I think not about poker, I am bored, not interested, then I just close the tables and go to do other things.

In live poker if I lose 2-3 max buy- ins, I take break for the rest of the day. If it was a bad beat I take some time off. In online poker I give it some time then start by playing freerolls or lower buy in cash games. I find it helps to have another hobby / job than poker, it gives you more flexibility and financial freedom.

I only have 1 or 2 percent of my bankroll out at anytime so i play untill im done regardless of how im doing luck wise. I took a week break after worst luck ever one day and came back to even worse luck. Got AA three times in 10 hands and lost to pocket QQ all three times! You best or worst hand could always be next no matter what that day has brought

It can be taken apart by the example of game cache, you come to the table with a stack 100бб, you can win 200бб can be 300бб, very rarely 400бб, then the limit of your game cache will lose 300бб because losing more than you will have opportunities to win. This is how all professional players play, lose 3 buy-ins and get up from the table and leave.

4 buyin then I am out or 4 mtt. Most times from this sample I would tell if I am running bad in which case I stop if not running bad I continue playing based on time restrictions/limit.

Good luck on tables.

When i have a bad day and i can't focus on tables i simply stop play them.
I realize that when i'm distracted by other things / activities.

Usually i take like 2 hours break and go for a park jogging or to gym. if after that break i don't have mood to play..i come back in the next day.

I play poker for fun, and therefore play only when I have free time and I have a good mood. Usually I play no more than 3-4 hours a day. And I always stop when I get tired.

When tired or lost more than scheduled, you must immediately get up and leave. Sometimes I get it, and sometimes continue to play and win in the end, but it is very big pressure.

For one thing I play with house money. All my money I win from freerolls and try to make it more by playing cash game or tounaments from there.

If I feel depressed, guess what, I make a withdrawal to lift my spirits instead of making a deposit!

there's an old acronym that reads H.A.L.T.

Stop playing, or halt, if you're Hungry, Angry, Lonely, or Tired.

I like this line of thinking. I believe it has saved me alot of money on some bad days.

I think the point is that if you can't stop, can't take a break if just to rest your body and mind, then you have a problem that goes beyond poker.

I never play more than 2 hours in a row and cut my loses in this way, then I can make another session later. Important as well is to keep motivated yourself and not to play exhausted.

You have to give your self time to get back to the ring, if your either loosing or winning for some time already. Like a reset button start off from zero to hero again and, don't over burn yourself in a few days have your sessions times right to be able to be focus.
