at least three bet the KK re raise if raised.. really you want to just make sure the A don't come and beware the hit of a set of some thing.. But its a great hand pre flop hand and its hard to get away from.. like the AA it gets cracked pretty easy.. after any flop the outs start adding up and who knows

You shouldn't re-raise or call all-in if
1. you get all-in or mini-3-4-5-bet from very tight player;
2. you play in very deep stacks (>300BB);
3. you play with room's bot (if you know it for sure) :)

If i have a KK in hand pre flop should i raise all in or just a small raise, and should i call if i get re raised?

depends on a lot of factors me I would try to play it hard if had chip lead. If not I would play it softer usually at the tables people i play they respect my game and do not get a lot of play back with aa kk hands. Is what it is. Rather take the small pot then a loss though.

I do a standard raise same always pretty much when playing with any starting hand. Is same if is jack 2 or aa or kk honestly. I dont play jack two but just saying for me is position first then viable hand a bet if someone bets im raising here I dont care of their history or tightness if I run aa to my kk thats the lumps you take period. Yet I dont overbet to chase them out so if I they raised blind id come over say 4 times not an all in they reraise or all in I call that simple they dont come over top I feel stronger. People on cardschat will slow play the aa though all the way down and sometimes you just take the loss but looking at hands I never see no way out of them honestly a majority of the time. Jack high flop they bet I all in they got aces im just toast is what it is:)

I said this in a prior thread. In my personal opinion, if you're going to raise, always raise the same amount as to not give away your hand. If you decide not to raise, that is definitely situational... and a bit dangerous sometimes.

its about position and player act before us.. if everybody fold to me i raise,if player before me raise big i call only and i push reraise or all in in last position.. but sometime we lost control when holding kk and get busted by aces

In single-raised pot, i will just call with my kings. It will give me a huge opportinity on postflop, because opponent will never put me on KK. So, i can easily provoke action from him and get some extra money.

2-3BB is a good choice at early stage,
I will raise 4~5BB at middle stage ( try to steal blind ).
and pass or fold at late stage or final table.

Different here, with KK I am always raising. Not all in unless short stacked.

Min 3 BB maybe 4. Would rather take blinds than let them draw out.

See I am very cautious with this hand tbh. First off with KK I will limp (depending on the stakes anything under a 10$ buy in) Then if there is no ace hit feeler bet (BB) There is nearly always someone raising that when they have top pair. pot re-raise and 9/10 times I will force them in and win of course that 1 time they get lucky on the turn and river and hit there cards lol

I try to never play any hand the same way repeatedly. If you always play a hand a certain way, your opponents will pick up on it. So I try to randomize the way I play all hands, as well as KK. That goes to how much to raise and whether to raise.

Good point uber. I had aa twice in 4 hands the other night and played them different each time. Took the Chip leader both times, last time for half his stack.

Well more often than not in my experiences when i have KK preflop and im all in or raise and get reraised an ace comes on flop. So after constantly getting tired of having that happen to me . I know limp with them. Even though it gives the other players more hands to limp in with it makes me have more chances to fold if i see a raise then 3 bet in front of me .

Much depends on your position at the table and the moves of your opponents. With KK hand basically its 3-4bet, if you were reraised after that - just call and wait for the flop. If firs raise were from earlyer opponent you can double bet him. The waiting strategy with KK are not applycable in most cases.

for me it depends who our opponents are. If I am against gamblers then I would call and if my hand gets stronger then bet. Against gamblers one pair is usually not enough.
Against tight players usually raise should give result.

With pocket cards KK can be raised from any position. The standard raise is 3-4 BB. Slowplay with these cards is recommended only in rare cases - when you play against strong players. If there are two or more reraises, a reraise from a tight player – a pass in any situation.

With KK preflop you need to do a 3-bet.

Man, you can't ask such general questions, in poker it needs to be more specific.

But, But if we are to talk in general, with a KK I will never foldin the pokerstars in pre-flop micro stakes, I'll raise, if the opponent re-raises I will 3bet and I will always go to search for all in, and if some vilain do all In I'll pay for sure.
It can be considered the call in a satelite tournament that is in the bubble and I am with a lot of plug, however in other situations I will never fold.

KK are very good cards but hardly invincible. I raise for little preflop and if someone raises a lot and there is A on flop, I follow, but if he goes all, I fold. Better than to lose.

Yes you should definitely call or go all in with those you will regret it if you don't if you hit trips or quads

if you dont know ops just raise/3bet/iso, dont shove. you dont want a good hand to et you just blinds. that being said you dont want to many dro hands in. so if you have few "stations" raisin BIG/shove. If you have a "good" table raise/3bet/iso

With many opponents you make a 3-bet.with only one opponent just call to trap him..That s my style of play..

My suggestion for KK would be

1. Preflop raise of 5 times big blind and hopefully an ace does not appear

2. If blinds rise rapidly, then I suggest going all-in to force the issue and also hope an ace does not appear

3. 3-bet if stacks are deep and blind climb up slow
