If some one were to sit at a cash game and shove every premium hand preflop would they profit over the long run?

probably not unless you was on a table with a couple of maniac fish as nobody would call unless they had premium.

You wouldnt get enough premium hands and would lose more in the blinds than the blinds you pickup.

What do you class as premium QQ KK AA AK?

I would say no as I don't consider QQ premium hand on a cash table. As most players will call with AK Aj so fourth and 6/10 times they will hit there ace. So if it was only AK suited and AA and KK then I would say see the flop then bait not push right away for some small blinds

I've done this for fun one day in micro stakes, definitely lost more than I won.

You would have to open like 12 different tables. It could work. I wouldn't shove pre. I'd raise quite a bit, but shove on the flop of I felt I was good.

yup they would win but not as much if they didn't tell the table how strong there hand was every time they got one

every hand? - defenetly no-no =)
if you shove like 10% of hands... maybe but your ops will figure out quckly your stuff and will call you with 5% of hands
I mean what you are suggesting is adjusted SSS for 40-100BB, it's whas a system you could use, but now... I dont think it will work good enought. You will not get called that often with garbage.

If you shove every premium hand then you will probably cause everyone to fold so all you pick up is the blinds...... apart the occasional caller, orifothers have called raised beforeyou then occasionally their chips too. Also you have to consider how often will you get these very few premium hands. Balance that against your lost blinds and you will find you are onto a losing sequence. Vary your game and play a game that will entice others to play and give you their chips rather than scaring them all away.

The best way to find out the answer to your question is to give it a try. Take say $5 which you can afford to lose and sit at a cash game and stick to your own rules. Let us know how it goes!

Best wishes

Of course there would be a plus. Initially, our chances for a bank are higher. But this plus is not big.
