Any pocket pair that doesn't improve to a set is still... one pair! Be it Aces or sevens, it's still just one pair. With that said, I'm opening from anywhere with Jacks, and I'm re-raising about 35% of the time. (I open larger UTG & UTG+1 with any hand I'd open.)
If we see a flop, I'm using my standard playbook: betting a dry board hard, and slowing down a bit if I'm played back at. If I do hit the set, I'll be value betting each street in the Micro's.
