As a general rule, don't open limp unless you're at a table where limps never get raised.
So your options in EP when it's folded to you are to raise or fold. If you're playing 6-max and effective stacks are around 100bb or more, the suited versions are great hands to open raise from any position if you are confident in your postflop skill, because of their great potential to flop nut hands / strong draws as well as decent top-pair potential. However, JTs especially has a risk of being dominated (AJ, KJ, AT, QJ, QT, etc). If you aren't confident in your postflop skill OOP, they can be folded UTG and maybe even HJ if you're super nitty. If folded to you in the CO and BU you should always just play them though, because they're quite easy to play with position, and you have additional fold
equity preflop since your raise has to get through fewer players.
From the SB 3bet or fold these hands facing an open. I usually 3Bet JTs and fold T9s, although if the open came from the button I will often 3bet T9s too since button opening ranges are a lot wider. If you don't think whoever opened and/or cold called will fold to your 3bet, then just fold unless they are opening very wide - playing OOP with all but the strongest hands just usually isn't profitable unless you have a big postflop edge, and will get expensive in a 3bet pot. From the BB you can flat if you're getting good pot
odds, otherwise 3b/f as before. (Note: if folded to you in the SB, then I'm opening these hands every time. If SB opens and I'm BB I'm flatting basically every time unless I have a very strong read that SB is a mega nit and the open is large (>3x), or SB is a super passive fish and limps in which case raising is also an option).
I don't like the off suit versions of these hands, mostly because their drawing potential is reduced. I generally only play JTo and T9o from the button. If you're very confident in your postflop edge you can play them more (but then you probably didn't need me to tell you that.) Also, if the table is very tight preflop you could consider opening them for the fold equity.
