ITM - In The Money. Literal translation – "in money". Prize-winning zone of tournament.
The period of ITM comes right after bucks when the last player who is not winning any prizes for the participation takes off.
In MTT ITM usually begins when there are 10% of starting lineup.

I believe he wants to know how often he should be ITM as a percentage per tournaments played. I don't know, because I'm too new at this.

If you do not make it to the final table but reach just in the money, the price you win is maybe 20% more then what you payed to participate. So when you always just become a litte bit through the bubble you even loose money when you are 50% off the time ITM.

As I read that in the past the professional players have a 15-25% ITM. A 10% or above ITM for an avg player is good result.

Rather than target an itm percentage, i would think it would be better to look at a final table percentage. Just making it to the money isnt going to be a good indicator of your success as you are only just getting your stake back. If you are not winning it, you should be looking at how many final tables you make as you will at least be getting a decent profit on your buy in.

Yea here are my steps... ITM, final table, than win. ITM is important step because you don't lose your stake in tourney. Sooo that's my first step.

Your target should be to increase your current percentage. I have no idea what an average players percentage is guess it's a matter of opinion, one guy might say 25% and another may say 30%. I think the best way to gauge success is to see if you're improving. Also, ITM itself can be very vague, you have to look at winnings too. Two guys may have same percentages, same tournaments played, and same stakes, but have different earnings. Set goals and keep track of stats i.e. dates, entrants, placings, and earnings.

ITM is really just a measurement of HLIWTALTGB. I would not worry about ITM concentrate on FT percentage. I really only care about top 4 myself because of how top heavy tournament payouts are.
