I think so
Every opponent is a good player in his hands can be any card and thinks how to play and win
Your opinion?

I agree that timing is a tell as to what your opponent is holding, but you have to be careful making assumptions like "he always bluffs after waiting 5 seconds" or "he always has it when he bets fast". Timing is just one part of the game of incomplete information, along with bet sizings and other patterns. Also, don't forget some people multi-table and their timings are often sporadic and near impossible to read. Starting off, timing is one of the tells you should worry about least, at higher play is when it becomes a bigger factor. So no, it's not worth paying attention to until you are more advanced in the game (probably professional).

I think it is a tell that he has a hand and is thinking about how to play it. BUT, the fact that he is in the hand (ie calls, bets or raises) also tells you he has something. It is just one small piece of information, and continue to use it as the hand progresses, and see the timing on flop, turn and river and compare this to his timing on other hands to see if there is any correlation to how he plays certain types of hands.

timing tells can be just as useful as sizing tells online. the better you know a player the better off you are when faced with a decision.

timing is a tell, one I have used on rare occasion to a good degree of accuracy. Something to note is that it tells me it's a hard decision, but not why (bluffing and bet sizing to get value can be tough decisions depending on the circumstance.)

I think of it more as a random detector that just goes off on occasion. I don't go looking for timing tells, but if I notice one it usually means there is something there.

I think it's a good tell that he doesn't have the nuts, but he definately does have something he wants to play. Possibly flushing or drawing on the flop/turn depending on the board etc.

I sometimes incorporate timing in my play. It can be useful to someone if they use it correctly, but backfires on me sometimes both ways... Online, that could be one of the only bits of information you have without paying to see, so I understand why you're asking. Sometimes information even backfires, so, who knows?

No exact rules here. Sometimes players thinks too long with a nuts as if he counts outs and hesitates and sometimes answers instantly with trash.

I would caution that timing tells are player specific. He could just be playing 16 tables and getting back to that one to make his decision.

It's an important part in real tables of poker, not online ones. In first place, your opponents change fastly. In second place, they may not be completely focused in the game. I believe other analysis should be made before you pay attention to timing.

Hi friend, I think a little bit like you since every player is good and always wants to take what is in the boat, whether it is having a good hand or playing a bluff or risking his game to luck example: going all in, in order There is a lot to take your time and it is good to do it. It is my opinion.

yes pay attention...if u multi table its obvi0usly gonna be harder...one tip is when they insta bet on the river its either nuts or missed draw...so pay attention to see if opponent is likely to bluff or show the nuts...

It can be a tell. I am very careful with it as online players can easily be distracted and you have no way of knowing. However, if a player is consistently doing the same thing in the same situations you can put more credence into that.
