Post a pic, and if it a small sample wait until you have over 10K hands to get a good idea of what is really going on.

I'm going to guess that this is over a small sample and doesn't mean much. Its not normal for 25/21 to lose money on the button.

Yeah, 1 is cutoff, b/c you can see less hands are played at higher numbers when tables are short.

Hmm, you're raising more hands in better position as reccommended. I guess it could be possible you're being too aggressive there and only getting action from hands that have you crushed? Are you getting into big pots with marginal hands often?

...but really just too small of a sample. Keep doing what you're doing for awhile, looks like its working alright overall. Don't mess with things until you have enough info to know if/where there's a leak. (although someone who knows more about stats may yet point something out to you)

I dont think you have posted enough info. I also think that you are basing your comments on too few hands. If you are basing it on less than about 10,000 hands then the stats may be biased one way or the other.

I think he has about 12,000 hands here? Maybe my math is off?

To me it looks like you are playing too many hands on the button. Its good to have position but if you're going to raise over 1/3 of the time and play nearly half of your hands...well...thats no good.

But like was previously stated, try playing more hands and just keep doing what you're doing. If you get up to about 20k hands and it looks like this same thing is still happening, then try posting your new results. Sooner or later hopefully someone that knows how to analyze the datamining software will know how to read your stats will come along and give you a few hints. When I get home tonight I'm probably going to be posting a similar thread.

I am a noob at this, and really have no idea, so I am simply posting some observations. I had a look at the stats and noticed that your win% on those 2 spots are also the highest 22.79% on button, and 27.34% on BB. I think that is quite ironic seeing as you are winning the most hands in those positions, but losing the most money.

Could this be that you are winning a lot in that position because you are being very aggressive and doing huge raises, thereby chasing everyone out of the pot most of the time (resulting in a small pot to win). When someone else at the table actually has a hand though, they are calling those aggressive raises, which results in the pot being very large (and subsequently a huge loss to yourself when they win)? Just a thought, perhaps it will help one of the more experienced poker players analyze the data for you.

Another thing I noted is that you have more hands played in those positions than the other positions. Did you have a couple of sessions of heads up play that cost you a lot?

fold to raises or play two pair or stronger since you have ATC in these positions.

I would guess this is true for almost every player, since UTG you are playing gold and on the button and the blinds you are stuck with crap.

Never play SB vs BB and keep out of the pot with garbage when it is just the three players left, if you cant push all in with it, then fold it....

losing in the blinds is poker, just dont add to it, if you lose 1.5 BB's per revolution and can win 50BB's in one hand by playing top tier hands, then you can sit there for a few revolutions without having to commit money on crap cards...

card selection is key, always be weary of UTG, since they probably have gold
