Hello guys/girls,

I would like to know your fealings about Omaha pot limit and Omaha normal. Is it just me or it is more difficult to play it and get better in it.. ?

I ran with flush to quads twice today. Also had won with straight and flush against draws / 3 of a kind. Have lost around 0,40 USD and got around 9 VVP in short time on pokerstars.

Any useful tips - how to not loose huge stacks playing Omaha Zoom ?

Thank you for taking your time and answering me :)

And wish to all of you happy Christmass hollidays and in advance happy New Year :)

Hi!

It's more easy to play Omaha because we have more cards in hand and it helps to take a better read about what can happens and make better decisions. But don't think that it's more easy to win: most of the games are won with full house or straights or flush because of what I sais before - there are more cards for everyone.

I only play Omaha in freerolls; I prefer Holdem.

Happy New Year!!!!

i heard ppl say that omaha is easier and ive heard ppl say that it is harder. but i find that the game has its own strategy of its own. i enjoy playing the game mostly ring cash games though. i find it easy to add to the bank roll.

As Arizoney said, I believe that it's whatever feels more natural to the player.

Omaha has always been my first game and feels very instinctive to me, whereas Holdem, I have to work at.

Remember that Omaha is a drawing game, not a "made hand" game, so strong draws to the nuts are often favored over, for example, a set on the flop.

Also, remember not to overplay your pocket pairs. There is no such hand as AA in Omaha. HE players tend to way overrate any pocket pair.

Here are a few threads to look at. Maybe one day I'll write my own.

Good luck!
