How should I strategize at the begining of a tournament to attain my end goal of placing in at lelast the top 100 players. I want to know the rate of increase my stack should have and how much to bet according to my total stack and at each stage of the tournament

One suggestion

I would suggest playing the same all through the tournament. Of course don't play loose if you are low stack but you should steadily gain staying above average. Also I win more money by building a big chip stack then sitting after second break (hour)then I do by trying to play till the end. So my goal is not to finish tourneys, just place

Actually when I was playing on wsop.com I noticed something very significant. If you can keep your stack at 20 big blinds or above at all times you are guaranteed a final table appearance. Have to see if this is the case also on ACR now that I am playing there.

To be fair, "at all times" inherently means you're staying in the tourney.
If you keep it at 15 at all times, or at 50, or at 3, then you'll win each time.

It's like saying, if you keep making your stack bigger (which is exactly what you do by keeping 20 BB at all times), you'll end at the final table...

I try to find compromis between blinds and my stack. Later bets will be bigger and it would be good if you have enough chips to play normal game...

You have to be willing to take some gambles and win some flips in order to make it to the final table.

I suggest a tight aggressive strategy to start and use that time to take notes on your opponents. Then you can start picking spots to steal.

What I meant was that 20 seems to be the magic level. It's not necessarily necessary to go for the double up time and time again, just a steady increase will get you there. I may not have relayed it very well.
