Depends which game you want to play. If you enjoy cash more then read books about that.

I'm currently reading one by David Sklansky - The theory of poker. Am finding it good but the examples in the book are taken from many different forms of poker. However, I'm still learning loads from it.

I'm also finding some of the You Tube training video's quite good both for basic tips for beginners and people who want to improve their play.

There are some very affordable training programs that are entirely computer based such as dead solid poker, and advancedpokertraining. I used both if those sites and found them to be useful for general skills and practice. There are others out there too. I think Wilson software still makes trainer software. After you are more skilled you may consider a coaching program. There is at least one recommended on this site. I would also recommend reading books related to the exact games you want to play.

do this but whatever you choose focus on one at a time cause playing cash then jumping on a MTT or vice versa usually doesn't end up profitable.
