I fight day by day to try to improve my game, but at the end of the day it does not seem to work. I should start from scratch rather than insist and try to fix my game.FB IMG 1524018447469

Starting Over with Learning a New System

If you've come to the point that you think your playing style is beyond repair you can "start over" by stopping playing for a while and spend a good few weeks reading books and watching poker videos (and reading CardsChat articles). Develop what you learn from them into a new poker strategy that you can hopefully improve your game with. However, always remember it is better to have multiple strategies you can switch between then to just use a single strategy. So, maybe after you have learned a new and improved system, you come back to your old system, try to repair it some more and then have 2 systems to play with and switch between to keep your opponents guessing.

Thank you very much for your advice. I'm already devoting myself to the study, yesterday I read excellent articles on advanced techniques of theft and defense of blinds. I'm getting better results in the poker stars league.

I could not read in the App from my smartphone. So I connected on the computer to read your signature, really to learn the game is not difficult, but mastering it is a constant task, no matter how good in the game someone is, there will always be something new to learn, adptar and evolve, otherwise it will be doomed to start losing more often and be overtaken by new players with better adaptations.

We have as examples some good players, who with the passage of time have started to leave the prominent positions and begin to lose more frequently.

That's right, I've seen mistakes made by professional players, that means they make mistakes like any human

study more, play less, review your hands, and discipline yourself mentally. millions of people are in your shoes, and you gotta take the steps to be better than yourself today, tomorrow - and keep moving up.

hopefully one day, gl hf

It's worth trying to change the style of the game. You also need to determine which errors you make most often
Your game also depends on your ability to assess the situation and your ability to calculate your own odds
Sometimes you can see how you can lose with so good hand
So all depends on the situation and from that how you can play in this game

Same here bud, seems we're doomed to be fish. :D My problem is that I like the game, but not a fan of learning. Sooo, yeah. I will try to read a book or two, and will practice calculating pot odds. Also I think its a good idea to look at others (preferably good) players beat the game, so I'll do that too. Best of luck improving your game! ;)

There's always ways to improve, but honestly, there's just as much luck as there is skill to winning the game.

If you feel you have multiple leaks in your game , try fixing ine at a time . Trying to change too many things is hard to do and hard to keep track of . Fix one thing and after awhile it will become natural . Then move on to the next . Good luck

Have you tried running your hands in leak buster? this pretty much help you cut time looking for the spot you need to fix. There's a free trial you can get, that should help you find the leaks that needs your attention.

It's much harder to fix mistakes than to find out, be patient and you will succeed!

Have to agree with mackmasterss. The game of poker is a never ending learning process; whether that is reading strategy books, watching videos, reviewing your own and others play. The CC forums are also and excellent source of information, be patient and absorb as much as you can. Improvement will come with patience and effort.

Be patient! It cant take ages till you learn how to play poker. The important thing is that you're on the beginning never give up. Everyday from hand to hand look what you've done. Observe your hands learn how to calculate the odds and percentages. Once you learn how to calculate percentages your good to go.
[FONT=NotoSans, Lato, arial, sans-serif]Once you think you've learned everything don't be so sure, go from the beginning :)

Good luck buddy with you all the best.

Now many books can be read, but I prefer video for a lot of them now.
