As long as you stay within what's affordable for your overall roll, I don't think there's a big issue using part of it to play live.

IMO if you stay within your bankroll managment numbers it really shouldn't matter where or what you gamble...do what you are comfortable with and what will give you the best chance of increasing your BR...gl

As long as you feel comfortable playing live then I would cash some out and try to play live poker.

Live tournaments are usually higher buy ins than what you can grind online. You should have 50 buy ins. A $1k bankroll is suitable for $20 tournaments. I'm not sure about the cardrooms in your area, but where I am at the lowest weekly tournament is $50.

If you are confident in your bank roll building skills, Id say to stay online till you have enough in your intertops roll to withdrawal and still have money to keep online. In your case, realize that when you withdrawal your roll, your ability to make money will decrease substantially as live games are way higher buy in , effectively making your roll a micro live roll. This will put much strain on your roll and your mental state. Unless you are willing to go broke playing live, keep this in your online roll, till you have around 2k, then take out 1k and play live and keep 1k online.
Even still a 1k roll live is only 5 buy in at 1/2 cash and less than 20 buyins of 50 dollar liveaments. Remember the rake will be higher live, and other expenses assoiciated with grinding live ie gas, food, money traps (casino games). Usually factor all this, and playing low stakes live is not very profitable to the transitioning online player, ( unless your so good, but even then variance and swings will make you lose your short roll eventually).

I'd say try playing in a few live games first, you do have to adapt to live verses online, it is slower then online but the skills you learn playing online will be useful playing live, but you will have to learn to reuse them it's just that different.

It is really nice friend! In fact I've started to play live in casinos taking credits from the poker rooms. For me the important thing is not to invest money from your pocket to play live tournaments.

I definitely enjoy the variety of switching between online and live and would recommend it.

One thing to note - The low level tournaments at many of the casinos I have visited are loaded with chop happy players. At my regular casino, at least 7 of 9 players are ready to chop once the final table is established. Those lower payouts coupled with the higher expenses others have listed will hurt your profitability.
