I have recently found myself not knowing what to play.. I am a strong HU player with a lot of SNG and MTT, I've dabbled a little bit in 5NLH cash but haven't had too much experience in cash games. (I think my my tournement play is stronger than my cash game play)

I would usually play a hand full of HU SNG Turbo's whilst playing a couple of MTT throughout the night, but I've found myself sitting at a couple of 5NLH cash games.

Any thoughts on what I should grind at with my previous experience would be nice :)

You have to play according what makes you feel comfortable and according of the time you want to spend playing! I think we all develop our skills playing tournaments, specially regulars turbo or not turbo because you will defeat more players and that means you will be confronted with many styles of play. You have to learn there and built a solid careear ajusting your style of play and understand the key moments to fold, bet, raise...

I've been cashing in MTT's but no major cashes, playing for 3/4hours with a $20-$40 return has put me off a little bit. Like wise with spin n go's I normally play $7 spin, and get $14 prize money like 90% of the time I'd rather play a $7 HU turbo

45, 90, or 180 seat MTSNGs?

I gave the 180 SNG's a go today, just seems to have alot of reg players who are used to these types of SNG's a lot more than me, I feel like an underdog playing these types.

That could be a problem. Does stars offer HU tournaments? Or maybe HU cash games?

Yeah ive frequently been playing HU super-knockout MTTs ande hyper turbo HU SNG. Think im just gna stick with these until my bankroll is good enough for some cash games :)

Compare what the game gives higher return and takes into account also what you most like to play because it is easier to evolve

Micro limit cash games is the way to go.. Play at a level that fits your bankroll, nothing less than .5/.10 though, or it will be silly play. gl

If you want to grind for the purpose of increasing your roll & making money, play the game you are best at.

Yeah man, past couple months of poker have been bad for me, I've gone from a fairly decent winning player to 1 too many loosing sessions. Since I had a short break all I've really been playing are Hyper Turbo's. I have more winning sessions than loosing but I don't feel like I'm playing proper poker at the moment.

I've always found switching from cash to tourneys difficult. I would suggest play whichever one you are better at and enjoy the most.
