well I started last week and I seem to have a problem. I start the tournaments good and get myself a good bank going. Then soon as I'm in the top 10 players I always lose my ball and end up dropping 20 positions. i feel like mentally my strategy changes because of the fact I'm in a top position. does anyone else get this? if so you got any good ideas how to win! haha

all I cant tell you is float, just wait for a monster, or bully the blinds, but that takes time to learn, that's a skill that takes time to learn, and can bring out the tilts in people. if you have a large stack, Just player even more tight than you started.
at that point even if you drop 20 places, your just 1 hand from being in it. also remember most tight players play way more loose towards the end.don't be afraid to gamble when you hit a decent payout. Luck comes into play a lot on the final tables.
I hope this helps you out, Peace and happy bank rolling"

It's not very informative that you had a big stack then dropped 20 positions, what stack size in big blinds you and your opponents had? What is the field size? In general you should learn how to play different stacks at different stages of the tournament. If you have a big stack in a big tournament and it is an early stage, you should slow down and don't play too aggressive if the blinds are still small. But as wildjoker68 said you should also use your stack as your advantage and don't lose the opportunities to increase it. It takes time and practice.

I would recommend to use any HUD not only for other players stats, but also for your own. There you can also see everyone's stack in big blinds and it will help you quickly know how to play against every player.
