Just take a break, or drop stakes. No reason to play play money. I mean for what its worth if uoure just afraid of losing, play some freerolls. Least that way you arent losing money and possibly winning money.

It depends on what's causing your bad run. If you're getting bad results because you're tilted and playing bad, going to play money isn't going to help. If it's variance that's causing your bad results, then going to play money isn't going to help either.

In my experience, when I'm running bad it's a combination of the two and it's better for me to just take some time off and not think about poker for a few days. I guess the moral of the story is that going to play money because you're in a downswing is a waste of time.

I think either play lower stakes or take a break.I have been taking some time off myself.

Definately take a break for a couple of weeks if not more. Try to do something that will take your mind off poker and the bad run, it workrd for me only it took a little longer 15 months to be exact.
I now enjoy the game again and the challenge of trying tp outplay the rest of the field
