This is a discussion on If button is sitting out within the online poker forums, in the Learning Poker section; If the button is sitting out, who has the positional advantage?
Cut off right?
So the hand range widens cause now you're technically the button, correct?
Yes you will be the last to act after the flop and will therefore have an advantage.

Yes, when button is sitting out and you are in cut off you should play like you play on the button.

re: Poker & If button is sitting out
Poker is based on positions but it does not mean that usually you will have an advantage poker is based on if you open any hand out of position you are playing by the strength of the strong range cards and in position you play by the force of the range and by You can have a weak hand on the buttton and take the best against the blinds for your position etc.
