There is no fold, especially at this stage of the tournament.

Not a big fan of the raise you only had 15 effective blinds, I think I would like a shove or a fold much better- and a smaller raise of 2x or 2.2x if you had some crazy reads that the rest of the villans were really really tight and you would fold to a 3bet.

Is there any posibility of run and fold that hand?
All opinions accepted.
Thanks
I don't much care for the lack of the C-bet on that flop, otherwise there was nothing wrong with your play, the other player on the other hand should have not called your preflop raise.
And seeing this was a CC game, villain obviously has joined CC not to learn, but just to play freerolls.

By my vision you did everything right, the other player who acted wrong on the preflop and was lucky. Good luck.

You must be joking, the A8os preflop call was obviously made by someone who likes to chase any ace as long as he/she's not faced with an all-in.
This is Cardschat not bingochat, take that shyte somewhere else.:D

I don’t hate the open but personally if I’m entering a pot and I have 10-15 big blinds I am shoving preflop. Betting all in preflop would likely have saved you from this unlucky situation because he’s unlikely to call with ace 8. Otherwise, there’s not much you can do in this hand but move forward. Unlucky cooler.

given the stage of the tournament, I think everything was done right, just unlucky.

With your effective stake size pre-flop; I may have jammed. However, there wasn't much else you could've done to save yourself against that cooler.

You're damned if you do and damned if you don't. I always lose at that stage and that position with just about any hand and any play. You were around 35 minutes into a freeroll with a moderately steep blinds structure.

Sometimes I play the way you did, sometimes I jam - it never seems to matter if I'm short. The trick is to get a whole lot deeper long before you get to this stage, so you can survive losing a couple of hands. There's a reason so many people play freerolls like maniacs.

Perhaps a pre flop all in could've made everybody give up the pot, but a shove with 88 is not very wise, though any pocket pair is one of the top 15% of cards to be played.

Lolol exactly. ..the ace chasers always make sure I get to the money I will have AK AQ AJ even A10 and the board will come with a Ace and they shove there A2s or A8o I call. Happens to me daily

You played this hand correctly, but you are unlucky, it happens many times in the game and somebody wins on such a hand and somebody loses, do not worry, and then be careful on such cards
when there will be similar situations!

I think similar to previous comments. You did things very well and the other player has been lucky to flirt. To continue learning and playing. Regards

Honestly, it looks pretty damn optimal for me, sizing is a bit off but other wise I can’t see anything that I wouldn’t have done myself.

Just push pre-flop.

I disagree with yours pre-flop 3bb raise: BB has a healthy stack and would probably call with an wide hand against which your 88 would be quite vulnerable post flop. Plus it would be enough an single caller to estimulate several players into the hand against who in most of the time you would be playing with a mid pair and the herculeal task of make all them fold. Finally 300 chip was a quite stab on yours short stack considering the fact that most of the time you will miss the set. Just imagine if Co call or Bu calls, prompting SB and BB into the pot? Now if flop comes Ah9c7h, what would you do with yours mid pair against 3 players?

Then you managed to get yourself heads up with a flopped full house, very nice. But after villain calls your bet on the turn with the J and the river brings the K, what hand did you supposed he was holding? AQ, AT? Honestly that J and then the K and player 2 still calling confidently...

Anyway, push pre-flop when raise represents a sizable portion of your stack seems for me the right play here.
