The fact that you have a set out strategy makes you easy to read, at least in live games and maybe online with a large enough sample. Having a coded "I do x when I want to x" makes you easy to beat. Look for a more balanced approach. Mix up steal sizes so they don't always just know you're stealing.

Maybe you are too cautious, and scared by aggressive player.
Try to All-in, shark grown up from fish.

Just need to play more and do more reading. Would advise reading Power holdem strategy by daniel negraneau. THis help improve my game when i first started significantly. Be more confident in playing and also assess your table and dont just play blindly, get a sense of the players you are up against and make note of how they play. Along with that read poker lessons, watch vids and read books that would help you to improve your game. gl sir wish u all the best

I think I might be too lol when I look at my stats I play 50%/60% of hands in most sngs I will often play any two suited cards n hope to catch a flush draw. You have to be in it to win it is my argument and also WHEN it works it works well. I do try n base my self on a tight aggressive style though but I call a lot and if flop don't suit I fold out 1st chance. I have only been playing 3 months and have won a few low stakes sngs and finished 17th in a $2.20 bounty builder on pokerstars out ov 7000 ish

You should play more aggressively and not only play when you have good cards.

I started a month ago and think this is my biggest issue. I'll literally fold the first ten or twenty hands waiting for a monster and end up in a situation where I've either got a great stack or I get blinded out in the bubble.

It's really one or the other and it's entirely dependent on my cards. I don't win hands unless I have a great one so I really have to work on that.

We're all fish. Unless you making 100k a year from poker and it's your full time job, then your fish. Plus it sounds like your too predictable.

why are the players so afraid to play hands from the middle of the range? Do not need to play all the hands, but little more than half the hands just! to wait for only premium hands in tournaments is stupid.. for 50 hands premium may be one or 2 times.. and KK is generally a very dangerous card, according to the observations of A come on the flop quite often.. :( don't be afraid to play average hands! Be self-confident!

Some great advice. I have always wanted to ask this question. Have you guys ever seen a pro poker player taking notes on the people at his table? And if not, do you think that is what they are doing with handheld devices,.....maybe they record/ text tendencies for the next time? Hell, I would do that. I do it in sportsbetting all the time....I have a black book that I keep adding things for over 20 yrs....it has helped me out tremendously over time.

If you want to improve your game in 2019, there are no excuses!
There are many sites that give you charts of which ranges you should play preflop.
The size of cbet according to the texture of the boards.
You should get used to thinking about ranges of hands, and not the hand you are wearing.

You should choose your hand range depending on the position you're in for each hand but If you're uncomfortable doing that you should consider adjusting your bet sizes from time to time so people can't get an exact beat.
