Well, if I could pick one thing wrong it could be your reasoning.
Although you were probably pot committed on the turn, you shouldnt have shoved to give bad odds
to a flush draw (right?) The only hands he could have that could put up with that much betting and benefit from a flush would be AKs or maybe AQs of diamonds.
I'm no expert myself, but perhaps you can still gain something from this hand. Depends on the opponent, but you could have considered that he landed a set- I would deem that if he's decent, he would have to have TT+ or AKs to continue with such large bets.
Then again, it is the micros. And I suck myself so don't put too much weight on this! For your consideration....
