Did I play this hand right?
Hey everyone, saw this forum thought i'd be able to ask a few questions here!
I've been playing poker on and off for maybe 3 years now, but the past month or so i've been playing daily, and teaching myself as well as utilizing the pokerstars
online school. I play both live and online, even though I prefer live games I feel online is still good practice.
Today, online I came across a hand and I'm not sure what the normal play here would be.
I had 55, the flop revealed AAA. I was Heads-up. I raised, the opponent reraised, I called. We both ended up being all in.
Opponent had 66.
Now, I know you should never fold a fullhouse, but this one time, I'm curious... Was the right play to push all in? I mean, I lost anyway because the 55 is still a fairly low pair.
Should I have read this a bit better and assumed he had a higher pair, or even an ace? Or did I play this the way you normally would?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
