You should've been able to get away from that hand. There 2 different possible straights out there and your kicker was bad . Too many possible hands beat you and by my count you should've had 30 BB left why risk it there?

You're beaten by A5+, KQ, 98. His defending range definitely contains those hands, shouldn't be too hard to get away from considering you'll have enough of a stack left.

I completely agree with this comment. Now I wasn't at the table, so i have no clue the momentum, or your table image. So I could be wrong with this evaluation. Personally I would not have thrown out a CBet on this flop given my hand. Not really a whole lot you could bet to get him to fold on the flop based off his range. So why even bother. So he checks a Turned A to you. You gotta feel like your hand is good at this point. Now fire your 7.5k, if he calls or Jams its obvious your beat, and you are still alive. I hope that helps.

I agree with the comments above. IMO, what did you in was the second A in the river that gave you a set, that made you call his shove. But with that third A i would have been sucked in too.
But with the tournament running deep and with only 19 players remaining, i would not be playing A4os with too much because of a weak kicker. (i always get beat by a higher kicker late in the tourneys).
Just my two cents... :)

I don't think you played it badly. I had a similar situations recently. I had AKo, raised preflop, got 2 callers. Flop A73 two of them are of one suit. The turn is another Ace. I bet the flop. On the turn I realize that if the villain called my big bet on the flop probably he has flush draw. I jam the rest of my chips and he calls. The river completes his flush and I leave the tournament. I don't think I could play that hand differently. But I was not lucky. I think your hand is quite similar to my situation.
