Playing 1.00 sng's

BR is 25.00

I have cashed 12 times in a row today!

Is it safe to move up to 3.00?

I know its not a lot but I really think I can do this!!

I would advise at least 50 buy ins for the level you want to play,
but I'm quite conservative with BRM.
Good Luck.

definitely not, less than 10 buy ins at the next level is almost definite busto,
grind it up

BR is 25 before or after the cashes?

If after, what is BR now. (Not that I think it matters, stay where u r) I mean, take a shot if you want, you may get lucky. Opinions on optimal BR differ but when you consider large downswings are not unusual, I would stay put until your BR is quite a bit bigger, even after 12 cashes. That may not even be that much money, depending on how many 1st compared to 3rds, and lost games in the session as well.

Edit: Aha, looks like your BR is 25..... be risking it fast if you move up.

You can move up whenever you want ,
but it is not good to be under-rolled.
Check out the BRM thread and articles .

20 buyins is probably the number I see suggested most often as the minimum to move up. A key reason I suggest more, at least 30, is that it's also the minimum to move back down. So, if you move up with 20 and don't cash in your very first game, you have to drop back down. If you have 30+, you have a reasonable buffer against running bad right away, which gives you more time to evaluate your prospects at the new level.

You're running hot if you just managed to cash 12 in a row but try not to get ahead of yourself and think that because you managed it that it will contiunue, as it won't. You're just as likely to go 12 in a row without cashing (and many more in most cases)

Stick to $1.00 games, even this is under rolled but possible. Going to $3.00 is just suicide, you only need to lose 2 or three in a row and have lost half your bankroll.

IF however, you can quite easily reload, then go for it...(then again just deposit the correct amount in the first place to play them)

PS: Is this on pokerstars? If so, cashing 11 in a row will highly likely get you on the low orbit leader board, get a couple of wins and you could well win enough money in prize money in batttle of the plants.
