I would say some never learn. It is good you are improving your game. Good luck at the tables.

I desire it to be standard, then I would still have some hope left.

Congratulation. Poker is something that takes a lifetime to master. If you're not learning something, you're definitely at a disadvantage. Putting in the time and striving to improve your game will definitely put you above the rest of the field.

Oh good. I've been playing for four years, and I do not think I'm playing well. So I should not be upset. Victory ahead)

Hands

I can make good reading of the opponents, my problem is to trust and drop some hands that I know I'm losing

You need to play in a style that brings more money. If you feel that you are playing the tight-aggressive style best, it makes no sense to make changes in your game strategy. If you are playing for fun and prefer a passive rather than aggressive strategy, this is also good, since you need to enjoy the poker game. However, you must know that if you want to increase the winnings, aggressive style will help to do it faster than the passive one.

Better late than never!

some people spew chips for a lifetime. good for you the game is extremely complex, yet simple. it's the mental side of it that keeps you making the right profitable decisions.

Well i play for 5 years and im still a bad player, so i guess 8 years is not too much. There are only few players who master poker in very short time.

I've been playing poker for about 10 years, and sometimes I have the same problems. I had periods even for a month when I lost with any big pair in my hand. But the one who is a real player never surrenders.

Been dealing them for 16 years. I am still learning new things everyday. It depends on how much you play because poker is situational. More situations you learn the better your getting. I just love those games when your hitting and holding up. Makes it more fun. But in the 16 years I've played I have played aggressive with strong hands and try not to limp with garbage as much. Strong hands go a hell of a long way in this game. You want to stack outs on the flop for sure. Getting a good read off your opponent is key too in becoming successful.

Its an open question

There is no time limit to finding your skills in anything some players take only a year of poker and they are winning big tournaments but this is rare and they have almost always had professional tutors. Other players can waste their lives playing and end up broke with no significant wins.

My game started to improve as far as end positions in mtt after watching professionals online play and joining twitch streams.

Gives us an example of the past and now!!!

And a question. I find reading opponents in micro stakes kinda hard, what stakes you talking about and are you talking about cash games or tourneys?

I also can not read my rivals! 8 years, better than 80 years. Some people learn more slowly, even if you have minimal progress you must be happy!
