You havent posted any hands you have played so how can we give you advice? Stop limping into pots, it would be on thing fish do a lot, maybe you do too?.

Keep playing, more you play the more you learn, practical > theory

thats all I can say for now (Im not an expect by any means lol )

It's an ongoing process, good way to start is to read threads here on the forum.
BRM, bankroll management & the importance of position are a couple of topics you might want to focus on.
Post some hands that gave you trouble, without including the result, to get some feedback.
Try to focus on your decision making instead of the results.
Good luck.

Damn, this helped me :)

Sometimes I click to check how much my bankroll is while playing, which is just about the results and not the game!

Its a bad habbit I think a lot of people have.

It doesn't matter if lots of people do this. You get better at poker by paying attention to what players better than you do, and by learning from them. Do you think consistently winning players at any level check their BRs while playing?

The biggest thing to work on in poker for me was bankroll management. You can play better than most the table but donk off all your winnings in 3 hands.

Since the term fish bothers you,I will suspect that you may have a little emotion in you play at the tables. Just remember that you cant please every one and when you dont fit their mold of abc poker you will always look like a fish.
A good example is to find a player that people call a lucky fish and watch him play on other tables. If he is constantly winning, then you can learn from the fact that he sells a good image at the table.
In other words I love being called a fish,it shows they are open to emotional exploitation and maybe they do not have tracker on to see my winrate. If I am losing than they are just costing themselves chips buy letting the rest of the table know I am a easy mark.

Posting hands, working on emotional leaks, joining a skype group and review your play after each session. I am also presuming you use a tracker,if not get one.

My advice is also that you have to see how it is at the table to enjoy the game. Play some ring games to see how they are and to become better at them. And the tournements are also different. Maybe you get 5000 starting Chips or you get only 1000, so my advice is to try some games to get better at them. I also got better because I played more often.

I think that posting this thread is a nice first step to improving. You need to spot your mistakes and share your hands to the forum, so that the more experienced players analyze your game, find your weaknesses and fix them. Its basically the same as playing Chess. At the end, when you lose, you go over the game again, in my case, with the local chessmaster, and he points me out where I lost the game by making a bad move. So if you analyze them you will become a better player sooner or later. You can analyze it while you play, for example you lost a hand, by making a nonsense bluff, ask yourself whether it was worth it, or not, and whether you should repeat that considering the same scenario comes again to the table. You also would want to keep track on your opponents , study their style, and mark it. Also reading cash, mtt, stt strategies online would help you a lot. Consider reading an article about pot odds, outs if you havent already.

As Doyle Brunson had said, Experience is the name of the game in Poker. So just play and play and in the process, you will learn from it. You said you just started playing poker 2 months ago. Make it 2 years sir. You also mentioned books. While playing, reading theories at the same time is good in improving your game.
Goodluck.
