a hand between Dan Shak and Selbst :

now I know Shak is considered a "fish" in the poker pro's POV but I was just wandering how would a pro play this hand if he were in shak's spot and do you think the reason vanessa called he's raise on the flop and the bet on the turn is because he is Dan Shak and not a pro like say... Esfandiari ?

I think the reason is very simple --- she believed she was ahead.

It's hard to say. We don't have the info that she does. Clearly she thought she had the best hand.

My guess is she thought he wouldn't raise the flop with two pair or better but would probably raise with top pair or worse.
