But doesn't player 2's kicker give him the win?

They both have two pair with Q kicker.

If the Q on the turn was anything else other than an ace then player two would have won.

Wait why does that work with any other card. The ace I understand but otherwise I'm lost..

Anything below a Q and player 1 loses. Player 2 has the Q in his hole cards so still has AAKKQ. Player 1 is playing the top board card with his AAKK and J or lower is not good enough.

Yeah - it's because no matter what, you can only play a five card hand. And the best hand BOTH players can make is AAKKQ.

Doesn't matter that Player 1 is using the Q on the board and Player 2 can use the one in his hand or on the board.

Gross river card for Player 2 LOL.

I'm pretty sure Fedor was the A3 but not sure who was player 2

You should enroll to PS school. it seems your poker knowledge is not enough to play anywhere with real money.
Good luck

We don't actually require you to go to poker school afore joinin the forum. Some folks actually use the forum as a way to learn the game.

Do you see that KK was on the table and it is used like second pair. When you have AQ and other player has A3 and on table is A3 and KK or JJ, computer uses pair from the table like other pair because it is bigger than pair of 3. And in this case there is AQ is on the flop but there are also KK. K is bigger than Q.
