Wow that was a pretty nice stretch of cards there man... Every hand could have been yours. i would have played a bit more aggressive maybe smooth called the 5-6 hand floping two pair then pushed. but other than that Nice 10-8 hand JEZZZZ couldn't have been a better situation for you. Wish i had runs like that deep in tourney. hopefully this weekend!

I think you may want to look at the thought processes you went through before various actions on these hands. Like a great many beginners, you seem to look at your hand and only think then and there.

1. With 2 limpers, 2650 in the pot and about 9200 in your stack, why did you raise with A8o, and why to 1500? There's no way either opponent should fold even though one did. In general, what are the reasons for raising? Which of these were you trying to accomplish? How likely did your action make it that you would accomplish your goal? And what was your plan for the flop at the time you make this raise?

Why jam the flop? What are the chances you'll get a better hand to fold? How about a worse hand to call? If the opponent has two overs, which probably makes up a good chunk of his range, do you want him to call or fold?

2. With 14BB, why 3x with ATo in EP? What's your plan for the flop when you do this?

3. With 24BB, why limp 65s in EP? When do suited connectors play best?

4. Why limp K9o in MP? What's your plan if someone raises? In the best case scenario where no one raises, is K9o, probably not in position and possibly multi-way, a good situation, one you want to be in?

Yep - you are either over valuing these hands or hell I don't know what - think you're playing roulette?

Fold preflop

1. Too many hands posted in one thread.
2. These are tournament hands so try posting them in the tournament section where you could get more/better responses

^^This needs a little more elaboration as what you have said is right but you give no reasons why you are making these moves.
When I first came here and started posting HH's, these types of answers didn't help me out because there was no specific reason given to why certain moves are done.

Now the reason you're making the moves suggested above is based solely on the size of your stack in relation of the blinds, this is how I'm looking at it anyway.
There are some on here that can elaborate more on why these moves are done.

I use Harrington's "M" calculation when making the decisions above, where if you have an "M" of 10 or less you're in push/fold mode.

When calculating "M", you take your stack and divide by total blinds + total antes(if any).
